Join option for Linked model elements

Join option for Linked model elements

When we work with link models, it is not possible to join elements present in the link with the current model. For example, when we prepare sheets, linked elements will be clashing with any of the model elements in the current model at the separation area created to divide the models, there we are using detail items to hide the clashes as seen in the below images:

Highlighted model is the linked model. Beam is clashing with slab.

To produce drawing sets, need to put detail item to solve this as marked in below image.

After using detail item - on that junction.jpg

This is hectic job and also repetitive if design changes are happening simultaneously.

Also, when you move and re-design elements as per the changes, when creating sheets combining the linked view, will have re-arrange the detail items in that view to match the design change.

It will save lot of time, if this feature will be enabled.

Hi,

When working on worksharing project, it is impossible to clean up joins between walls from groups (for instance : partitions) and walls from outside of the group (for instance : structural walls). When working on non-worksharing project, there is no issue.

Please solve this problem.

Thank you.
