Flexible pipes inner and outer diameter necessary - actually inner and outer diameter is equal
We like to use the flex pipes of Revit to simulate flex hoses to sprinklers. For hydraulic calculation of sprinkler system in this case it is necessary to have an inner and an outer diameter of this flex pipe like in pipes. So it would be good if this could be realized in further version.
Current flex pipes lack the option to set different parameters for their inner and outer diameters.
It would also be very helpful to be able to set a routing setting for pipes to use predefined flex pipes.
Flex pipes also often come with different sized diameters for each side. Ex.: 1" > 1/2" or 3/4" > 1/2"
It'd be of immense value for calculation, were we able to set values for flex pipes and pipe routings.
Another topic is the drop pipe shown in the picture below, which has a Sprinkler ontop of it.
As these come in set lengths, use a grooved to threaded connection and should not function as regular pipes, aka change lengths automatically, yet also be able to be used in hydraulic calculations.
This may be a lot to ask but is absolutely neccessary to ensure proper workflow using Revit for Sprinklers.
