Family Type

Currently family type names are listed in alphabetical order.  A significant number of times, this is not optimal.  For instance, a graphic scale family with a type for each scale might contain types that would be listed as below.

1/16" = 1'-0"

1/32" = 1'-0"

3/16" = 1'-0"

3/32" = 1'-0"

3/4" = 1'-0"

3/64" = 1'-0"

These scales are not listed in ascending order by scale but rather by alphanumeric sorting.  The desired order would be as shown below.

1/32" = 1'-0"

3/64" = 1'-0"

1/16" = 1'-0"

3/32" = 1'-0"

3/16" = 1'-0"

3/4" = 1'-0"

It would be nice if the family type names could be manually ordered in the family like family parameters are.

This is a good request. In the meantime, one way to handle it is to give it type names that would sort alphanumerically and in your desired order. See example below.

scale01_1/32" = 1'-0"

scale02_3/64" = 1'-0"

scale03_1/16" = 1'-0"

scale04_3/32" = 1'-0"

scale05_3/16" = 1'-0"

scale06_3/4" = 1'-0"

Obviously, this may not be ideal for your needs, but it would do the trick until Autodesk implements your idea.
