Expand the extents of callouts
How can we get annotation crop regions added to callouts like we have in the other views? I avoid using callouts for the single reason of not being able to control how far outside the callout region is visible.
What if the callout had two boundaries, one is visible. One is the View Crop, the other the Annotative Crop. It could have grips on it like they do in other views.
I get around this by placing a Plan Region inside the Callout zone. That plan region has a View Range that's only 1/4" "tall", starting at the floor level. This will screen out most objects, only the ones crossing the Plan Region boundary (like pipes or ducts) or crossing it's narrow View Range will still show up, but Hide in View can take care of these stragglers.
