Duct/Pipe Drop/Rise Cut Visibility

Duct/Pipe Drop/Rise Cut Visibility

There should be an option to show the duct and pipe drop/rise symbols ONLY for ducts and pipes that are being cut. Same goes for their line weights. As the architect, it's helpful to see and understand which risers are which via the symbols, but I definitely don't want to see the drop/rise symbols at every change in elevation. The ductwork is often just faded into the background of RCP's, but in doing so, it lacks the graphic cue that one of those rectangles is a riser that's going floor to ceiling.

There is another ideia that tried to make this by making vertical pipes (and ducts, etc) their own special family with this particular graphic detail. That would be very nice actually.

The rise/drop symbols available are ok, but we would love the possibility of them recognizing the flow direction and put the correct arrow symbols automatically. As we may desire they can be different if we are seeing them in the hydraulic model (or any of the MEPs) or in the Architectural model, I would still keep those symbols as a project option but I would add the option to upload our own for each flow setup (including converging and diversing flows).

The day Autodesk implements this, it would be a great day indeed, and a proper reason for the annual version upgrade...
