Allow for foreground and background fill patterns for color schemes
Just like you can specify a foreground and background fill pattern and pattern color for a filled region, provide this same ability for a color scheme. This would be helpful to have to increase the options available for customizing the graphics of an area plan.
Strange that it’s so few votes for this one, and frankly we shouldn’t need to ask for this. Why implement background and foreground pattern on everything and leave out color schemes.
Another thing as well; if you add two fillpattern(foreground and background) to the material on the floor, the fill pattern from the floor will override the color-scheme color. (the colorshcema color is put in the background)
Our workflow could benefit from this ability as well. Quite recently we have needed to highlight rooms if for example the program area is being met. We were wondering if we could achieve that with foreground and background options. Ideally we would keep the initial color scheme, but they use the background color or hatch to show if...
I would like to suggest you to apply the solution of double fill Patterns implemented in the 2019 to the Color Scheme and its legend.
It is an extremely handy feature to have, and I believe that, not only architects but engineers would benefit from having it, specially if it could be applied to Spaces.
I hope this can be introduced soon to Revit.

Color Scheme - Single Fill PatternFilters - Double Fill Pattern
Great idea to have option of two fill patterns for colour schemes. I would love to be able to apply a background colour and a separate line pattern to my legends
I was just discussing this during my Rooms class on Tuesday evening. In plan I tend to keep it on the background setting and elevation/ section foreground setting. On plan it bleeds into walls (not favorable) in elevation/ section covers furniture and equipment (favorable). More control would be helpful. Thank you.
Yeah I'd really like this too. Then I could have one hatch for the buildings use group per chapter 3 , and another for the function of space per chapter 10.
