There is currently no dedicated workflow or design workspace in Revit for substation and HVDC modeling. Critical components such as flexible conductors, busbars, power cables, clamps, connectors, and associated hardware must be modeled using generic tools, resulting in inefficient workflows and limited design intelligence.
Introduce a dedicated Substation/HVDC design toolset with purpose-built tools and intelligent families for flexible conductors, busbars, cables, clamps, connectors, and related electrical infrastructure components. A vertical-specific workspace would streamline modeling, improve accuracy, and better support the requirements of transmission and substation projects.
