Decal In Family Creation

The ability to add (and bind) decals to a family seems to be a relatively basic requirement for creating marketable and identifiable families.

I know that there are workarounds but it seems that the function should be available.

I agree.  It would be nice to load in a TV into a patient room and have that TV have an image no mater what room I render, rather than having to place a decal on every TV or be very careful which views I render to only show TV's with a decal applied.  Ideally the decals would also be able to be swapped via a visibility parameter and/or a label applied to be able to swap them to decal types in the project

Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately, this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months and as such we will not be pursuing it at this time. Please feel free to rework (titles and clear descriptions are really important) and resubmit this one down the road.
