Why can't we change the view on a sheet with a dropdown menu once the view is selected? If you have to place and align multiple views on sheets with the exact same crop region, you should be able to change the view on the sheet and have placeholder views (without actual content) in case a view is duplicated so you can change the view in the duplicate sheet.
