Add delete / replace function in Line Styles

Improve the Line Styles dialog by adding a delete / replace function. Currently when lines are deleted they are converted to default "Thin Lines". This also applies to lines in regions. Throughout the duration of a project it is impossible to manage the Line Styles especially when AutoCAD files are imported and exploded or when models from third parties are used.

(As a matter of fact the way of managing Line Styles should be rethought completely. . . )

If I'm understanding your issue right, you want to replace the line style of the objects you select.

There is a way to do this, using the override button.

See the two pics below:

@jswoolley no this is not correct. When browsing in the Line Style dialog - see screenshot below - deleting a line, will cause all elements using that line type to be converted to "Thin Lines". Not only very annoying but also impossible to manage line weights etc.

The solution would be a warning / pop-up field when you delete the line style. If the line style is unused it can just be deleted. And if the line style is in use, you can choose another line style to replace the one you want to delete.

You should be able to easily standardize / consolidate by rules, based on the line types by thickness, color, and pattern.  (i.e.  All lines that are 03 Black Solid should swapped to --LineStyleName--.
