Add Control Points to Leaders

It's now almost 2022 and we still can't have more than one control point on a leader. It would be awesome to have the ability to click a "+" ADD CONTROL POINT "-" REMOVE CONTROL POINT. When working with equipment that's itemized we need to be able to better place tags.

Spline leader style

It would be nice to have options for leaders, including a spline option, which can be used for tags, keynotes and text with leaders.

TRUE that this was suggested back in 2017, but i'm taking a chance to try it again

I have seen this idea thrown around in the Autodesk forums. 

An option to add multiple vertices to create bends/elbows in tags, text, generic annotations is heavily needed for clean documentation.

I have a project where I am having to fake a lot of leaders to make it legible. Leader Control points is a must have

Leaders can only have 1 bend point, we often need to make 2 and always fake it to keep drawings clean.

The arc leader is so limited it is almost redundant.

This is absolutely fundamental and essential.  Other programs (such as Archicad) annotations/ notes are much better—simply for having better controls.   Getting arched leaders to look great without multiple control points is not possible.  At the end of the day, the 2D look of the drawing is what we are producing and if we can’t make that look good with Revit, then we will switch to other programs.

It's about time to be able to create simple Spline style leaders in Revit. If you ever read/used/learned the outstanding work of Paul Aubin, you'll know exactly what I mean....
