Window transparency not showing

I am having some trouble getting my exterior windows in the exterior wall to display transparency when I create and "shade" my 3d camera views.  What doesn't make sense is when I copy that same exterior wall with the same windows outside the building, the windows display transparency just fine.  See Image.  What can I do to fix this?

Those are existing windows. Change the 3D view Phase filter to Show Complete.
