Window Schedule columns

hey,

i've created windows schedule and what i need to get is a table like the one i made in excel as an example(attached below)

how can i achieve that situation that the schedule will count windows by the level of the building and then sum them all up?

Hello

 

In Revit window schedule, you can achieve that in Rows ( if not columns )

1. Add Levels in the schedule, Add Count...

2. Sort by Levels

3. and follow these settings for a. Calculation, Sorting, Grand Total.

using Sorting, calculations, filter etc..

well, i know how to acheive what you did, but i want my specific situation (because i have many types of windows and i want to make floor levels columns and not rows)

is it possible?

No, schedules are a bit limited in Revit, but you can export your schedule as csv and translate row/column in Excel.

Revit doesn't allow Filtering using Columns...

 

But if you are forced to use that Format, then It would be complete Manual..

1. Add the Parameters ( Text - Ground, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 )

2. and Fill in the Numbers Manually.

 

Example..
