Hello

I'm currently doing a partition familly and i'm having trouble with the schedulles.

So i was doing the familly as a window and i cant see their dimmensions in the schedulle.

tdpalmeida_0-1637170432233.png

The window familly is made with mullions and each mullion as lenght but in the end i can't make them show up and be in the schedulle.

I don't know what i'm doing wrong.

Or if i should skip this and use a courtain wall.

Any ideas?

There are no values for Height and Width as you show.  What do you expect?

when i use the height in the formula it restrains the mullion and when i had it in whe window familly it doesn't work.

So i'm using the lenght and when i add the mullion to the familly i say that the lenght is the height

If you want to schedule Length then make it a Shared parameter.

If you want Height to the same as Length and schedule Height then add a formula to Height formula box in the family: =Length

In order to report the "LENGHT" Parameter Value of the Shared Nested Family in your Project Schedule, the Parameter must be a SHARED PARAMETER.

LENGHT.pngLENGTH2.png

....OR, the "LENGTH" Parameter in the Nested Family must be ASSOCIATED to a Shared or In-Built Parameter in the Parent/Host Family.

Good morning.

Dunno if it's better to open another topic or if i can still ask here but.

I changed the mulions to be cut by voids, but when i load them to the window and use a void they are not cut.

The idea is to make a 45º cut in the window that can be turned on and of.

Any idea how i can do it?

It is irrelevant to the parent topic, so a new thread/post would have been more suitable. but since you have asked the question already, it might as well be answered here.

If the mullions are nested components, you should use 1 of the following:

  1. Either a nested Face based void if you intend to cut them in the window family
  2. Pre-Cut the mullions before nesting ... ie: instead of cutting in the window family, cut with a void in the Mullion family

The cut with void when loaded is intended for cutting once loaded into the project/model
