I do not remember in family creation with shadow. I just create a family of Blend, looks like very strong shadow, even I can not see the object when I turn it. thank you.

It is shade, not shadow.  Adjust lighting of the view if you want to brighten it up, or change the view to Hidden or Consistent Colors.

Thank you so much. If change the view to Hidden or Consistent Colors, it will be so bright, when I turn it. I think if change materials, maybe better.

The family environment is for you to model the family, not to make a presentation out of it.  So, clarity is better than eyecandy.  When you load the family in teh project, you can change the material to what you want and you can see how it fit in the context with lighting, shadow and everything else.

Unfortunately the realistic view won't change the shaded brightness. Here is a screenshot showcasing realistic view won't change the the shadow cast on it. This won't affect it once you load into the project.

You can try to go to realistic setting and set them manual and change the brightness.
