Where are my shared parameters stored?

I am quite new to Revit Lt.

A while ago I made a number of shared parameters for lighting fixtures.

I then bought a new pc, had the old one's contents transferred to the new one, downloaded Revit Lt again, and have used Revit Lt since on the new pc. 

Now, when I want to make a new shared parameter or use one of those I previously made, I can't find the latter and Revit does not suggest a file for saving my parameter file other than "Downloads"...

I have searched for my old parameter files, but am not able to find them.

So - does anyone know about this kind of problem?

I suggest to do as follows:

• in your Project file click on the Family that contain a Shared Parameter.
• In Family Editor , click on a dimension that has Shared Parameter >Label Dimension>Create Parameter

• then :Parameter Properties>Shared Parameters>>Select>Shared Parameters

• Edit Shared Parameters > Browse> the Location of Shared parameters (I hope) will open
