just bumped into troubles this morning when I updated IE7 to IE8. At least I
think it must be the reason... My OS is Vista 64-bit and the Revit version is
64-bit too. The combination has been working pretty well, up to now. Well, I
was working this morning with Revit and everything was fine. I downloaded IE8
in the background and then installed it. After a while I restarted the
computer as required. After restarting the OS Revit crashes immediately after
the welcome screen ("recent files"), no matter what button I push (browse or
any of recent files)! A popup says: "An unrecoverable error has occurred. The
program will now be terminated." Luckily the 32-bit version seems to be
working! But this is a serious matter. Does anybody know if there is a decent
solution? -ksoy-
