Hello,
I am having a problem with setting a wall to be transparant using a view filter.
What i want to achieve is to make all walls with a certain material (in this case a material called ARCADE_kalkzandsteen) transparant so that you can see the beam lying on top of a wall opening, including the 'overlap' of the beam onto the wals. I wanted to achieve this while keeping the foreground pattern of the wall displayed.
This does not pose a problem as long as I have the discipline of the view set to 'Coordination' or 'Architectural'.
However, the pattern of the wall dissapears as soon as I set the discipline of the view to 'Structural'. If I dont apply any filter transparency (or any filter at all) to the wall while having the discipline set to structural the foreground pattern displays just fine.
I have added two screenshots to demonstrate the result. One where the discipline is set to coordination which gives me the result I need, and one with structural discipline which poses the problem. I need to achieve the same results with the discipline set to structural since the use of discipline is already a big part of our workflow. Is this possible?
The fill pattern of the wall is defined by its material. I have added a third screenshot of the materials graphic properties.
The filter is applied to Walls, and uses the following rule: Structural material-equals-"ARCADE_kalkzandsteen".
If anyone would be able to help me with this problem I would greatly appreciate this. Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Luis
