I am new to creating and editing door and window families. I am editing an existing Revit Family now.
It is a Generic Model that contains windows and doors and a precast panel above (Nested Family).
Through the bottom ribbon (the PREVIEW VISIBILITY ON / OFF), I can turn on/off doors and windows.
Previously, doors and windows laid on the same reference plane. They now lay on different reference planes because the windows have 30 mm offset from the base. The issue is that I cannot set the Generic Model Void to the Visible parameter, so I was wondering how I can manage to create a Void to be referenced to two different reference planes.
I hope it is clear. Please find attached a snapshot.
Thanks
