Wall shaded appearance

The sloping wall was modelled in place, and has the same material as the straight wall. Why is the appearance different?

Check wall Phase, and/or Set View Phase Filter to Show Complete

Is the model in place category correct? Is that category being overridden in the view template or visibility graphics?

They're both "New Construction"

It was definitely modelled using the Wall category. 

There's no view template

Any "Paint" applied? Try "Remove Paint" or set to "By Category"

Triple check if Material is identical to other system wall families.

Did you assign the material to the solid in the editing mode?

I don't see the entire wall but from what I see, it can be done with normal wall with edited profile.

No paint applied and material is "cast in place concrete" like other wall.
