Wall Pattern showing on the wrong side of Wall

I have this wall, where there are patterns only on the finish of both sides, no patterns in between. The moment you pull down any outside layer by modifying the vertical structure. The second layer from the outside will show the pattern on the opposite finish.

Unlocking the finish

Pull down the small grid finish, big grid finish shows instead of the gyp

Pull the other side down, same thing happened.

Tried this on Revit 23, 22, 20. Same result

Tried turn off Wrap, same result.

Create parts then the materials should show correctly when using Show Parts.

hey Jonathan, thanks for checking in. Parts is a great suggestion but its a work around, there are potential risks of using parts, we try to avoid parts when possible. Another workaround would be painting the surface with the correct material, both of these works but they both require extra steps labor. it will be great if Autodesk can fix this in the back end.

Hi @Peter_Yau

Thanks for coming back to me. It sounds like a great suggestion for the Revit Ideas platform.

It would be great for you to take a look there and maybe submit an idea for a modification to the wall tool.
