Duplicated Callout when reducing the Crop View

I've created a callout by Referencing a Detail View (independent) on a Wall Section.
But when I adjust the crop view to a certain extent, Revit creates a callout to that view, resulting in two callouts on my wall section. This only happens when adjusting to smaller crops.
Any thoughts?

The help states the following

A reference callout does not have a parametric relationship with the referenced view. Therefore, if you change or resize a reference callout, the changes do not affect the original referenced view. For example, resizing the boundaries of a reference callout does not affect the crop region of the referenced view.

However it does appear that then the Referenced View Crop Boundary is less than that of the Original Callout it loses association with the Original Reference Callout and has to Create a New Unreferenced Callout to keep the relationship - I have never seen this before and cannot find any guidance on it so maybe it is a bug?

Hi @eduardofv_slantis,

The callout that becomes visible in the section is that the actual callout itself of the view on the right?

It might be that when the crop is withing the crop bounds of the left view it becomes visible as a callout, because it intersects with it.

That would mean the independent section is taken at the same place the referenced callout is placed, correct?

Some Options:

- Use the actual Section callout, as it's taken at the same place and only reference callouts where no section/callout is actually taken.

- Use the "Hide at scales coarser than" and set to a scale less then the left section

- Hide the callout manually in view

- Michel
