Hello hello,

What would be the best way to edit the wall in the attached photo so it will have an angular finish (trim) - like the beam beneath him?  a mass? or is there another way to edit?

* i would like to keep the finish layer that wraps the wall from all sides

Thanks!

I'm not completely sure what you are after, could you sketch what you want on top of your attachment?

If this is the only view it appears, try the cut profile tool.

hey, thank you for your replay

wasn't clear enough really..  i attached another photo of what i'm trying to get to

the only immediate option to edit the wall is in vertical views, and i need an horizontal one..

hope it's clear enough now - thanks!

Create an in-place void and cut your wall with it.

Hi

you can draw an angular reference plane/ line and trim the wall using that..

I know it is possible to attach walls to a reference line, ideal if you want an angular vertical cross section or a fast kind of 'edit profile'. Would like to a screencast where you cut a wall with a reference plane/line. My version of Revit cuts only beams that way 🙂
