Wall Assembly Split Regions Cause Cut Patterns in Wall Sections to Disappear

I'm using Revit 2017 and I'm having a weird problem using split regions in wall assemblies.  I'm using Split Regions to show horizontal score lines on the exterior of my building.  See attached snips for this.

The problem is when I go to a Wall Section, my walls either partially disappear or the cut patterns don't show correctly at all.  I've checked phasing, filters, coarse/fine, but the only thing that "fixes" the problem is when I remove the split regions from my wall assembly.

Has anyone experienced this and discovered a solution?

You may use tiny reveals instead.

When I try this, my reveal line weights are very thick in elevation view because I have my walls set to a heavy line type for the profile.  I wish there was a way to adjust reveal line weights under the wall category in visibility/graphics to they would appear thin and my wall outlines thick.

Never had or read about the issue you are describing.  Interesting.  Might be a local phenom. Want to post the file for us to look at?

It works here.  Can you copy the wall to a new file and share it?

I noticed my functions were not set to the same setting for the plaster.  I had one at Finish [4] and one at Finish [5].  I re-did the split regions with the wall materials all matching function [4] and it worked!

Layer Function? Interesting solution. Give yourself a solution credit. That information might help others.
