Wall & column cleanup issue using Phase filters

Hello all;

We have an issue where we are creating existing plan, demo phasing, and new construction.  There is a pilaster in a masonry wall.  In existing phase the column cleans up with the wall, but in new construction it does not.  We have checked all the common issues - materials, top/bottom heights, view template filters, class (structural or architectural), cut profile, to name a few.  The only way that they are cleaning it up is in new construction phase they are using a "white color" detail line and drawing over it.

Thanks in advance...

Can you share screenshots for both phases?  Is there any new wall in the closed proximity that messing up with the joint?

barthbradley,

Thanks for the reply...

Show All displays the "existing" as half-tone (gray) - which is what we want, but Show Complete is "by category" and will not show up half-tone (gray).

Hello rsahayUZMK9,

How do you want me to send / share it with you?

The best approach would be to save a copy of your file (detached, if it is workshared), strip it down to the elements shown in your screenshot, and attach it to your next post.
