We are trying to create a Hollow Core Slab using a nested void Family. However, the voids do not interact with the floor slab.
Os there a Problem with using a slab or Surface template? We do not have a "void template", if there is such a thing. Or is the Problem somewhere else?

Use a nested face-based void family.
Thank you, it works. Now we would like to have various different void types (e.g. square, rectangle, circle etc.) which are controlled by a type Option through visibility or some other function / Parameter. Any solution for this Problem?
Make different void families as generic models, nest them into a host family and here create a family type parameter : generic models, place one of nested families to cut a geometry of a host family,
assign a label to that nested void family, create types in a host family and assign a proper nested family as a value, loaad into a project , changing a type of a family will change shape of cut.
Hi there.
Probably, you haven't told the void to cut the other mass. If you send your file, I can help you.

You could make a mass of floors and void cut them, then turn the floor into the hollowcore family. Here's a video I made on void cut floors made from massing elements, enjoy!
