visual plan view issue

Hey, 

   As an student I have to make blueprints accordingly to state norms. I have issue with 2D plans details. For example, doors in the plans are not showing as I need them to due to norms. Default show of the doors in 2D are shown to me as in Picture 1 and I'd like to make them show as in the picture 2. Could anybody please help ? I tried to figure it out but I failed. Thanks, Michal.

You can change the coarse scale fill pattern for the wall and increase sill height for the door to display according to your picture 2
