Views getting cut off when published

The past couple days I've run into this issue with the publishing of revit sheets.

As you can see below, (left = Revit) (Right  = bim360 publish) the callout 'Detail D' gets cut off when published.

It's somehow due to the view selection area not fully recognizing the Multicategory tags. Only the selection area gets published.

Couple things that worked but each has a downside:

  • Adding invisible lines to the tag family, but that affected where the leaders are attached to.
  • Making the view section bigger but that affected how big the callout view is in the overview
  • Adding a simple small 1.0mm text to the view with only a "." in it but this isn't a structural solution. Lots of manual work and of course this creates a small pixel in the views.

So my question is:  Is there a way to make the selection recognize the multicategory tags?

To note: The model is in Revit 2021, this is a standard callout, the tag family only contains a label.

Hi,

I would recommend checking if you have enabled the annotation crop for this specific view in your properties. Please refer to the attached image.

@karistaJBGCS Thanks for the suggestion but this didn't affect the actual section of the view:

Thanks for the screenshots, I would then have a look at your printing/publishing settings. Ideally paper placement would be center and zoom set to fit to page.

@karistaJBGCS Yes those are turned on but this isn't done using a PDF plotter.  This is done using the publish function to bim 360. Secondly is only one small section on a huge A1 sheet.
