View Template settings for linked revit files ignored

We have views that include a linked Revit file. The Revit link is' attached' rather than 'overlay'.

The view template appled to those views has set Linked file to Custom, with certain worksets in the linked file turned off and on.

But the views all default to 'By host view'.

The only way to fix it was to set view template to 'none', change the Visibility Graphics in the view manually, then reapply the View Template.

Basically view templates don't work for linked Revit files!

Has anyone else come across this bug?

You can do this by create new View Template and in this Edit for V/G Overrides, in this for Linked Revit files change by host to custom. And the customise for model:)
