Hi, I don't seem to be able to alter the view of the steel beam frame that forms the top floor of my project.  I have played around with the View Depth settings but nothing seems to get rid of the frame where it cuts the oval shape.

To me it looks like the beams are getting cut around the top curve which is giving me the elipse.  Thing is my View Depth setting are 2300mm Top, 1300mm Cut, 1200mm Bottom and 0mm for View Depth Level.  All based on the associated level for this floor ( 3 ).

Any ideas?

I hope by view depth you mean view range. You might need to drop a plan region at each of those locations lowering the cut plane to the floor level. Since the cut plane is always some distance from the level you are always going to see that framing being cut through.

The help guide on the plan regions is here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2015/ENU/Revit-DocumentPresent...

My advice would be to create one, get it working then copy it to the other locations and pin them.

Hope that helps!

How did you model the frame? If it is a structural family then edit the family and uncheck Show family pre-cut...

Cheers that's sorted it.  The first suggestion didn't alter anything and not sure what it was supposed to do, although maybe is it to give different areas within a drawing different view depths?
