Varying Door Panel Lengths

I wish to change the oanel lengths in the generic door family so as to have one panel which is smaller than the other rather than both panels having equal lengths.

To change how parts of the family are displayed in various views you can open up the family editor, select an element(door, frame, trim, etc...) then open the visibility settings for that element
