With Large Files - what is the best process to obtaining continuity.

From a AutoCad background- the interface is similar but the operation is a little different

Also how do you set up a systems of families

How do you build families as new components for a specific project.?

Thank you all help would be appreciated

Just purge objects you don't need to reduce file size, also don't leave to much design options open.

I think that after reading this 10-part series, you have a pretty good understanding of Revit families

"With Large Files"???

My suggestion would be to start small and not "urgently"; and certainly not with a conversion of large AutoCAD files/projects in one fell swoop.   Combining a big project with a steep learning curve is a recipe for disaster.

Our transition to Revit took 22 months.
