Universal Scale for Text

Hi Everyone!

Is it possible to make a legend that will auto adjust to the scale you need for each drawing. For example if I make a Legend for our RCP Legend. Is there a way to make the text scale without having to readjust or recreate the legend each time our RCP drawing size changes?

If you place the Legend View on a Sheet, it should read correctly, as it is independent of the scale of the other View(s)

that are placed on the Sheet.

I think what you mean is changing the spacing between different texts instead of the size of the text itself.  Is it?

For Legends that we use on many different drawing sets, I am  having to redo all the text because our drawings can range between an 1/8 to 1/4. I want to have a legend where I can just change the scale and and not have to readjust the text.

Text don't get bigger or smaller when scale changes, the view coverage area when place on a sheet is. Try place a 1/4 legend and a copy but 1/8 legend on the same sheet and tell me what you get.

I originally imported our Legend from CAD and it was at an 1/8" scale. I set up a legend that when posted on the sheet was not the correct size. I then adjusted the scale to 1/16" to make smaller and this is what happen.

When you change a View scale you need to re-arrange the text location.  There is no way around that unless keeping the original scale and make the legend graphics look acceptable for different scales.
