Unable to create legend

Hi,

We are working on a project  using an especific template from the office. While working on it, I've noticed I can't create any Legend for it. After we go on  View tabCreate panelLegends drop-down (Legend), nothing happens, no pop-up screen to create a new one, no window opening, nothing. 

That's really strange considering other projects from another template works just fine, but this one especifically doesn't.

Any help?

Sorry, I can't because this is all based on the office template and their files.

Start a new Project, using the Default Template.

Does the Create>Legend tab work?

Yes sir, with the Default Template the pop-up opens up and I create it normally. 

Don't know why this bug only happens with our template.. The pop-up window doesn't even open up. Is that a setting that I'm missing or is it just disabled?

Send a screenshot of your menu in the project created from the specific Template.

It should look like the attached.

My Revit is in Portuguese-Brazil, but this is the button to create the Legends. Every time I click it, absolutely nothing happens. Keynote Legends ("Legenda de Nota-chave", in Portuguese) are working, though.

Try to right click on Legends in the Project Browser

Hi rsahayUZMK9, that's the method I first tried and still no results 😞 couldn't make it in any both ways of creating a Legend.

Can you right click and duplicate an existing Legend?

It happens. Just this morning I lost access to Materials. Clicked on it and nothing. Close and restarted and that solved it.

I would shy away from that particular template if its Legend view system family is lost, at least for any new projects.  Create a blank file and transfer standards to get what you can, then save it as a new  template.

I want to see the RTE, not the RVT. 

I think that was @ToanDN's point; that the template itself might be "bad".
