I am trying to make a region with un-rectilinear lines, but Revit wants to constrain some of my my lines to horizontal.
Help?
You can turn off snaps temporarily, keyboard shortcut SO (stock settings).

You need to be more specific about your problem then... Post some screenshots at least.
I am trying to draw a line between the end of the 2'-6" line and the end of the 3'-0" line to create a region. The "constraint" won't let me.
Hmm, ALT while sketching doesn't do anything for me. Must be missing something.
Snaps Off (SO) followed by Snap Endpoint (SE) works for me... I left off the second step in my earlier reply, sorry.
Turns out ALT doesn't work when the line reaches a certain length, but SO & SE does work.
Thanks.
You can also press TAB while hovering the cursor near the endpoint your want to snap to for Revit to cycle through the different snap options.
Ordinarily yes, but at the distance described in the image the snap fails to "see" the endpoint. Quirky...
