I've been experiencing an issue with a particular file in Revit lately, that I just can't seem to resolve. The project I am working on is large, however when I go to synchronise any changes it takes 1hr+ (if I'm lucky) or, if I'm not lucky, the screen goes completely white, progress bar disappears, and Task Manager let's me know the program is no longer responding.
I have a colleage who is also working on the same file (their local file but shared central), who is not experiencing this issue at all, and are able to sync in about 20 seconds. I spent over an hour a few weeks ago to Autodesk, who provided me with some guidance and taught me how to read journal files to understand what's happening behind the scenes, and the issue temporarily went away yesterday after the installation of a Revit update. But it seems as though it is back again, which makes working on this project incredibly frustrating, as I end up losing hours of work at a time - very unreliable.
I've tried Run as Administrator, disabling all plug-ins and creating a new local. Our IT Department is looking into it, but in the meantime I'm not sure what else I can do to try resolve this issue.
I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced something similar with one particular Revit file, and if by chance anyone could suggest any solutions that might help.
