Create a Plan Region for that area.

place a Building Pad from the Massing & Site ribbon. set the elevation and it will cut into the surface.

@otokuchava

Tunnel/horizontal cuts in revit topo surface will always show the mesh...

  1. Use a building pad under the garage as suggested by @hmunsell
  2. model the green roof over the garage using either of the following
    1. an in place mass or generic family
    2. a roof with modified subelements

You will have a similar result to the 2nd image below

- Create a subregion for the topo above the roof
- Isolate it in a view and export the view to DWG
- Link the DWG back in an in-place mass
- Create Roof by Face and change the Roof material to match the surrounding topo (or a green roof material).

@otokuchava I am kind of confused here. Are you saying your garage is full of dirt? That your garage is INSIDE solid ground, not UNDER solid ground, as you stated?

...If UNDER, then your Plan View is fundamentally correct. The earth above the Garage is visible at the View's Cut Range. I'm surprised Plan Region didn't resolve, but Subregion definitely should have.

Why don't you demonstrate with a screencast how the subregion clears the posch base and its material from the section/plan view...we could all learn something new 🙂

I'm not going to do a Screencast. Why don't you do a Screencast?  You seem to like doing them and you do them pretty well.

BTW: The OP is asking about a Plan View.  Where did you get Section from?  There shouldn't be any poche in Section of Garage if the Garage is truely UNDER Ground. It's just showing in Plan View because of the View Range.

You cannot cut a Tunnel inside a Topo.  Period.

A plan view cut below the surface of the topo and above the topo's base height (in the screenshot below) will show the cut pattern.  The base height is universal to all topos/subregions in the project.  You cannot set it differently from one to another.

If you don't want to create a Roof as the substitution, you can keep it as subregion and manually hide it in the floor plan view.  This approach will not work for section view because you still want to see the part above the space.

You really need to calm down! it's a question for the sole purpose of extra knowledge!

I would gladly record a screencast when someone asks nicely you are right about that but in this case no one disagrees that the building pad cuts/clears out the poche base and a mass or a roof can serve as a green cover. . .On the other hand, there are doubts that just creating a subregion  clears/cuts the posch base out and generates a horizontal cut in  Revit's toposurface! We can always learn something new...no?

Edit:

Everyone understood what the op said even your good self, therefore, the interest in your suggestion to use subregion!

I don't know why you say "calm down".  What gave you the impression I anything but calm? You ought read what I wrote, instead of reading into what I wrote.  Take note of the compliment I gave you too.  Sentence 3 of 3.

...sorry.  I edited post.  The compliment is now in sentence 3 of 7.

i think problem is that revit thinks its filled with ground. so I had same issue in past and i did the same as you suggested. like new subregion and then i copied  deleted the subregion made pad and pasted only top of surface it actually worked but in elevations there were too many lines. same problem now with roof with subelemnts. there are extra lines thats shouldnt be. i think revit should make something like underground floor.

Subregion works.  Are you saying it doesn't? Sorry, I'm not understanding the point of posting a capture of my post.
