Duplicating Modellgroups

Hey there i have the following problem.
I made a building via massing and grouped it to duplicate it for a city planing project. So that if i have to change something, i only need to change the modellgroup and it will all apply to all the copies. But somehow it wont let me duplicate the Modellgroups. Does anyone know what im doing wrong. It moves the coordinates of the group where i want the duplicate and copies the building on the same spot as it was.

instead of an in-place mass, do you have access to FormIt? its been a little wile since i played with it, but im pretty sure you can make your mass in FormIt an import it to Revit. then edit the FormIt model and update the Revit content.

You could also turn your Group into a Link and place multiple copies of the Link.

Sure you can edit a Link.  Open Link Project, Edit, Save and Reload into Host Project.  You can also Bind a Link Instance, which would be analogous to Ungrouping a Group.
