Tile material lines not rendering correctly

I would like to show a wall with subway tile. To do so, I altered the default 4in. Porcelain Tile. In the Appearance tab I changed the relief pattern to be a running bond with 2 tiles per row and 4 tiles per column. While the material looks exactly how I want in the preview, once rendered it... looks very different. Any thoughts?

Also, make sure you have the Ceramic drop-down set to color if you want the relief to present the tiling.  If you set the Ceramic to Tile then it must match the Relief's setting or you will have overlapping grids.

Brilliant! Thank you! I had the Ceramic set to color, with a relief pattern set to tile. However, once I turned off the relief and set the ceramic to tile it presents exactly how I want.

What version are you using? I tested in 2019 and setting the tile under Relief also works. It gives you a bit more "depth" to the appearance of the tile (nit picking). But if I remember correctly then the procedural tile may not work properly in some older version, which may contribute to what you got initially.
