The common line between stair and floor

why cant i remove this line between stairs and floor while i already joined them both .

is there another solution rather than covering it with masks or regions

noting that both have the same material.

Stairs don't join with floors or anything else. You have to use Linework tool to change the adjoining lines to invisible.

when i searched for a solution i found some one suggested to put a landing for the stair which may help to join the floor. do u think it may help ?

A landing is still a part of the stair and it won't join with anything. It just makes you move the joint from one location to another.
