I am trying to add concrete head to openings, please help

as per attached screen shots, i am trying to add a concrete bar over the opening inside the wall, so far I've succeeded to do what i want except one only problem, i hope u can help me with it.

the concrete bar hatch should replace the brick wall hatch, or hide it. but as shown both are appearing, i tried to add mask region in the family of the window but it hided both the wall hatch and my bar. i tried also to edit the visibility of the bar and nothing helps.

and please do not suggest to use the filled region in the view because i have to make it globally not per item or view

thanks a lot in advance

Create a detail family with a filled region matching the cut pattern of the concrete lintel material cut pattern, set the filled region to be opaque. Load it in the section of the window family and place it where the lintel is.

Can edit the window family so as to provide a lintel ("concrete head") to your opening.

Nevertheless i would go for ToanDN solution it's simpler.
