System Requirements

Good afternoon

We are having some PCs built for the office and I was wondering whether the following specification would run Revit 2016/2017 optimally. I have been onto the Autodesk site to find the requirements but due to cost and availability and cost there are certain items that we cant make use of.

Below is the spec given to us by a supplier:

Intel Skylake Core i7-6700 (3.4GHz Quad Core) 
Patriot Viper 4 Elite 16GB DDR4-2600 Kit (2x8GB) 
Gigabyte Z170-HD3 (LGA1151) 
ASUS GeForce GTX1060 Strix - 6GB GDDR5

Patriot Spark SSD - 256GB

Western Digital Caviar BLUE 1TB

All input would be greatly appreciated.

The spec is pretty good.

Thanks, from the system requirements on the website I think we should be fine but I was mostly concerned with the graphics card which isnt listed on the website. Will the GeForce card be fine?

Hello, just download the version of Revit you want. Download and install, you have 30 days to decide if suit your requirements. And after installation untick use hardware acceleration from options > graphics eventhough your graphics card is not certified by Autodesk requirements and see how it goes. Hope it helps. thanks
