Stairs Pattern Cannot Be Adjusted

I'm modeling stairs and trying to align the stairs pattern to an existing floor pattern. But there is 1 tread which I can't change. Whereas in other treads & risers it can be adjusted.

Paint with Model Surface Pattern and then align the Line Work of the Model Pattern.

Align the Surface Pattern on a Model Element | Revit 2019 | Autodesk Knowledge Network

...it looks like you have it highlighted in your screenshot. Are you saying it won't nudge using the Arrow Keys?

that's the problem, it only can move up/down and cannot be left/right. that's why I cannot Align it to the next tread.

Have you tried Painting the Material/Pattern onto the Surface using the Paint Tool on the Modify Tab?

just to make sure, you change in 3D view, right? because, in-floor plan its pattern is okay, but not in 3D view

Option 1: Use the Align tool and Align the Tread and Riser to the side/Edge of the Monolithic Run... See GIF BELOW

Option 2: Use Arrow Keys (Up/Down) as suggested by Barth

Option 3: Use Paint tool to apply Material with model pattern (More Flexible with Pattern alignment)

No, so I have found the problem. you must edit the stairs pattern when the section box is off. if section box is check, then the last step won't move
