Does anyone know why the stair attached is not consistent in material? Run does not follow the material assigned. Even a single run is showing different materials in a single piece.
No, the Revit file is attached. That's the cut pattern that has issue. We cannot paint the cut pattern.
I don't know how you managed to create that stair. Maybe just redraw it.
It is using a different monolithic material

Thank you for your comment, yes we could redraw it. But, I need to know why this happens.
Applying <By Category> assigns the material defined for stairs in Object Style. However, I want its material to be different from the material in Object Style.
Reason is the paint you applied to the top face of the Stair as well as the sides of the run which conflicting with the Monolithic Material...To fix:
Option 1: Go to Material Editor and Set the patterns (Surface as well as Cut) in the PAC Concrete material u used to paint stairs
Option 2: Remove the paint, and simply use the PAC Concrete or Any other Material as Monolithic Material and it should also work fine
