Stair and Reference Planes in Revit 2018

Hi Everyone ...

I am using Revit 2018 .... I started Stair command and input Reference Planes in Ground Floor (level 0.00) ... everything went smooth. I went to the First Floor (level 4000 mm) I did the same procedure I started Stair command, started to input Reference Planes ... error message .... I tried this procedure on other files .... same result .... I did that using Stair by Component in Revit 2017 ... No Error ....

Can anybody help me please

Please upload a screencast (alternative) in order to see the steps you have taken before the error appears. I follow the steps you mentioned but I did not see the error.   

If you used the Pick Line Tool, a hotfix has been issued very recently.  Download it and check if the Revit 2018 hotfix (2018.0.1) resolves also this issue.

I downloaded the hotfix .... everything is OK right now ... the error disappeared .... Thanks
