split wall -> delete 2 doors

3 doors hosted in a curved wall.  Split the tail end of the wall and two of the doors loose their hosting and have to be deleted.

I'm just going to trim the wall short and create a new wall segment for now but somebody should figure out what's going on here and fix it.

Two solutions - 

1) 

Do break #1 first, then break #2. The doors will stay fine. If you do Break 2 first then the doors will lose their hosting.

2) Split the wall before inserting the doors

Third one:  CTRL+X to cut the doors, split the wall, Paste aligned in-place.

I'm cleaning up an already well developed model so the doors are already there, and losing them is not an option because it will screw with the scheduling.

Ok, but why?  Why do they lose their hosting?

Yes.  I just tested it.

A lot of times the sequence in which operations are carried out will produce different results. It's that way in 3DS Max and Inventor, so it stands to reason that it's the same way with Revit.

As to the exact why - I have no answers. Maybe divine intervention? All I have is a solution that works.
