single room missing from the model

Hi All,

For some mysterious reason I'm unable to select one of the room in my model - the room tag is still there but the room itself it's gone missing!? I also can still see/select other rooms and areas... It's just this one (the Bathroom room), some time ago I've moved it temporarily from one apartment to the other and when I wanted to move it back it's gone...

Please advise

Couple of things you can check.

1. Is there a roof or ceiling close to floor? Often those roof or ceiling is room bound and will hide the room

2. Check to see if there is plan region which set to upper level

3. Check and see if the room has offset

4. Check and see if the room is set to volumetric rather than area. Volumetric will contain room within wall, floor, roof, ceiling. If the room cut thru two floors, it will contain only at the level below.

@s.sotiriou

So you see this room Marked in Red... Overlaying the other rooms? Could that be your Bathroom by any chance???

Drag and drop it on the other side...

Hi @RDAOU , thanks for your reply. The "room" you have marked in red is actually an Area "2B4P" (GIA of the whole apartment) and it's exactly where I want it to be...

Hi @syman2000, many thanks for your reply. See my comments:

1. There's no ceiling, no roof, no slab above/close to the floor.

2. There's no plan region either.

3. & 4. I'm unable to check that because I can't select the room - that's the whole issue...

Hi @s.sotiriou

You have a section running through the room. Are you able to select the room in the section view?

Upload the sample file so we can take a look more carefully.

1. Make sure that room is associated to correct level ( you can get this by Room Schedule, Associated level, name , area etc )

2. your best best is , create a schedule, and delete that room.. ( Deleting a room on the floor plan, or moving or by mistake making unclosed room ) won't delete that room from the project..

3. Just delete that room and recreate it on correct level and make sure its enclosed. and then tag.

@Corsten.Au

I thought of it but I cannot find that particular room even in the schedule! Weird.. Eventually I just deleted the tag and created new room where I needed. I know it's not a perfect solution and that room is still somewhere in the model but as it doesn't even shop up in the schedules...

@syman2000

Unfortunately I'm not allowed to upload this - its fairly sensitive work stuff...

@ahjorn

Nope, even in the section I can't see/select that room...

I have to admit that this is really weird behaviour for a room element.
