Showing surface pattern in schedule

I am trying to create a floor schedule to count the total area. Each floor has their own surface pattern. Is there anyway to show the surface pattern in schedule?

Currently I am using legend, but with legend I have to input the area manually

This is what I did using legend

I still don't see how I am supposed to show the surface pattern. Am I missing something?

What about using the Image Parameter?

That could work, but I would like to know is there any other way that I could make use of the material parameter that I have already set up before

Make use of the Material Parameter you set up before?  Tell me more about this Parameter.

Sorry, I'm referring to the surface pattern of the materials. I have 13 different floor types, each one has its own material with its own surface pattern. If I use images, it kinda defeats the purpose of having carefully chosen different surface pattern for each one.
