I am trying to get room colors to show on top of phase override.

It's basically that we have all projection of existing elements overridden but trying to get some new room to show as its room color. If it's possible. 2018-03-12_22-53-17.jpg

Phase override doesn't affect Rooms color scheme so I don't see what the problem is.

Did you set the existing surface pattern to solid grey? What about making the color scheme foreground, or turn off the floor surface pattern for the rooms need colors.

Great suggestions. How would you be able to make room color scheme foreground?

Thanks!

Open the view and look at Properties palette for color scheme location.

Then I think you do need to turn off the solid pattern of the floor. Set the exiting rooms to have solid grey color and new rooms to blue under the view color scheme and you will get the same result.

Thank you very much!

Do you have any insights on how do you show phases in RCPs?

Thanks!

Create floor plan only shows rooms with the color scheme and overlay it and the RCP on the same sheet.  You may need to turn the ceiling to transparent for the color to print if I remember correctly.

Yeah. I have tried that but I think REVIT 2017 doesnt have an options to overlay a drawing anymore. it underlays by base level and top level & underlay orientation?

No, not the Underlay option within a View.  You need to physically place two views on the same place on a Sheet.
