Shipping Container Wall

Hello,

I am new to revit and wondering if someone can help me build the wall face to look like a shipping container. I want to be able to modify the wall assembly (such as adding steel studs, drywall, etc. behind), adding windows and doors. Will downloading a shipping container family let me do this or I need to make the walls itself so I can modify?

Thank you for your time.

You can just create them as normal walls and array a vertical wall reveal (or wall sweep) to create the look. Although, the recommended approach is using a proper material with Relief pattern (bump) for appearance and a model pattern for graphic.

Here is using a normal wall type with reveals.

Wall sweeps and wall reveals are based on profiles.  You can create a new family based on Profile-Reveal family template to draw the profile shape, then load it in project and assign to a Wall Reveal type.
